Services/Paint Protection Film

Gravel, bugs and grit hit the front of the car first.

Paint Protection Film

Clear or colored PPF takes rock chips, road debris and scratches so the paint underneath doesn't. It suits daily drivers and track cars alike, and it keeps the car looking the way it did when you bought it.

Options

What we do

  • Full frontBumper, hood, fenders and mirrors. These are the panels that take most of the chips.
  • Full bodyEvery painted panel covered, as on the Porsche 911, BMW M4 and Rolls-Royce Dawn in our showroom.
  • Track packExtra coverage for cars that see the track, like the Camaro ZL1 1LE.
  • Windshield filmA clear layer on the glass, so a stray rock leaves a mark on the film and not the windshield.
  • Door edges and high-wear spotsSmall pieces where keys, rings and car doors do their damage.
  • Stealth conversionSatin film over gloss paint. It changes the finish and protects it at the same time, as on the Tesla Model S Plaid and AMG S63.
  • Colored PPFFilm that changes the color and still takes the hits.

How it goes

In the showroom

  1. Wash and decontaminateThe paint has to be clean down to the clear coat before film goes on.
  2. Correct what needs itFilm locks in whatever is under it, so swirls and marks get polished out first.
  3. Lay the filmEach panel is wrapped by hand in our showroom, then squeegeed out.
  4. Check it under the lightsEdges and seams get inspected under the showroom's hexagon lights before the car goes home.
